Top questions customers ask us!

A2 milk comes only from Indian breed (desi) cows. It contains the A2 beta-casein protein, which is easier to digest compared to A1 protein found in most commercial milk. That means no heaviness, less bloating and a glass of milk that actually feels good for your gut.

Our milk comes from healthy, well looked after desi cows, and nothing is added to it - no adulteration, no preservatives, no synthetic hormones. We feed our cows the way farms around Sira always have. Every morning they graze on fresh green fodder from our own fields, and along with that we give them ragi and jowar straw and some groundnut cake, the same feed farmers here have used for generations. No nasties. No fortified pellets, nothing industrial. Just natural feed, so you get authentic taste and nutrition in every spoon.

Yes! A2 milk is gentle on the stomach, rich in calcium and good fats and naturally nutritious. That makes it ideal for kids, adults and seniors or anyone looking for healthier, wholesome dairy!

Once you share your delivery address, it takes about two days for us to set up your route before your first delivery. At the end of the trial, you decide whether to move to a regular subscription. There's no obligation either way.

Unboiled, the milk stays fresh in the fridge for 2–3 days. Boiling it extends that further. We recommend boiling before use either way — it's good practice even for pasteurised milk, and especially useful for milk delivered fresh and unprocessed like ours.

As with any fresh, unprocessed milk, we recommend always boiling it thoroughly before giving it to children or anyone with a sensitive digestive system. This applies to pasteurised and non-pasteurised milk alike, and it's a good habit regardless of who's drinking it. Our cows are indigenous, so the milk naturally has A2 protein, which a lot of people find easier on the stomach than regular milk. We also believe there's something to eating what's grown close to home - our cows have adapted to this land just like we have, over generations, and that's part of why local, native food makes sense to us.

Our farm is located in Sira, on the outskirts of Tumkur, Karnataka. Our cows graze freely and roam the land here - we built it to be a good place for them and for the people who care for them.

We rear indigenous Desi A2 cattle breeds, including Sahiwal, Red Sindhi, Tharpakar, Rathi, and Hallikar. These native breeds produce naturally rich A2 milk and are well suited to the Indian climate.

We don't sell our cows. Even when a cow stops lactating, she stays with us, and her dung and urine go back into our farming practices to help regenerate the soil naturally. This keeps their care sustainable for us, rather than a cost we can't manage.

Our Desi A2 cows naturally produce milk with a higher fat and solids content. Indigenous breeds give less milk overall than cross-bred or commercial dairy cows, but what they do give is richer. We also don't skim or standardize the milk the way commercial dairies do. If our milk is too creamy for you, then as per certain age old practices, mixing it with hot or warm water at the time of consumption can be done. That also makes the milk lighter on the stomach.

Our glass bottles are reusable and recyclable, not disposable. We collect, clean, and sterilize each bottle before it goes back into circulation, so nothing goes to landfill and no new plastic enters your milk.

Yes. Leave your empty bottles out the night before your next delivery, and our delivery staff will collect them the following morning. Glass also keeps milk cooler for longer than plastic packaging, which helps reduce the risk of spoilage before it reaches your fridge.

Yes. Milk packaged in plastic pouches (LDPE) can pick up microplastic particles, especially if the pouch is handled roughly, scratched, or frozen. Glass doesn't carry that risk - it won't shed particles into the milk, however it's handled.

We maintain a 12-hour cold chain from milking to delivery. By keeping the milk continuously chilled, we preserve its freshness naturally without adding or removing anything. Also when we keep it chilled, that arrests the growth bacteria enabling the milk to stay fresh longer.

Yes, as our milk is absolutely fresh and minimally processed and from desi cows, it is considered to be satvik in nature unlike other large scale dairies where they process the milk to remove the cream and reaches your shelves after days.

No, our milk is not pasteurized, so it retains its full natural nutrition. It's kept in a continuous cold chain - chilled within hours of milking and delivered within 12 hours - which keeps it safe until you boil it. As with any fresh raw milk, always boil before consumption.

Since our milk is non-pasteurized and minimally processed, it retains its natural aroma. The smell can vary slightly depending on the cows' feed and the season. This is completely normal and is a sign that the milk has not been heavily processed.
